Book before shopping

A first Grimoire is a session beat, not a codes reward. Yol, Arcanite, and Clan Rerolls from the codes table fund later rolls and clan decisions. They do not spawn a book in your HUD. If you skipped Sister Lily, finish her on the beginner guide before you hunt a tower you have not unlocked.

Recaps say the join book can already be rare. Treat that as Unverified luck, not a wiki guarantee. If the UI offers a bag or storage at the tower, keep a rare join book instead of overwriting it on a guess. Named later NPCs are not Grimoire vendors until you see the live nameplate.

Locations stay TBA until a pin is real

Google autocomplete asks for CloverFall grimoire locations and a grimoire quest. Those intents belong here as questions, not as invented waypoints. When a dated recap tied to Place 76894257773137 shows a stable pin, this table gets a named quest row. Until then, “tower after start” is the only honest location line.

Trello at https://trello.com/b/YmYocd9u may log book data later. Treat Trello as a feature board, not a second map. Discord (discord.gg/cloverfall) is for live strings and patch noise, not a substitute for the in-game pickup.

Unverified is not S-tier

anti-magic showing up in a recap does not make it the strongest CloverFall grimoire. poison showing up does not make it a farming pick. light and lightning appear in recaps as Magic Knight exam farm suggestions around an Unverified level gate — that is a playstyle note, not a rank. Aster is a clan label in recaps, not a book; do not file it here as a Grimoire row.

When this wiki can screenshot a real nameplate in Place 76894257773137, the row can move from Unverified to a named entity with empty stat cells until numbers exist. Until then, empty cells stay empty. Rank talk belongs on the tier list, which also refuses a fake S-C dump.

Bank codes first

RELEASE, BUGFIX2 (Twinfinite-only), and THANKYOUFOR20KVISITS all name Arcanite. Redeem Unverified strings on the loading-page or main-menu Codes tab before you open the tower roll. Spend rules live on currency. Official listing: BETA, data will not reset — code Arcanite is not a throwaway tutorial wallet.

If Continue is on screen and you do not understand the book, stop. Recaps argue Grimoires matter more than clans early because stacked Clan Rerolls from codes make a later clan hit easier. That is community order, not an official patch note. Look at clans before you mix clan and book spends in the same minute.

Play the kit you own

A CloverFall grimoire guide that lists anime spell names you cannot find on the HUD is fanfic. Combo and awakening labels stay TBA here. Open J after the first book so you do not dump points into fighting style before you own a style. Craft or pick up a starter weapon before you stack weapon nodes — that loop is on progression.

Combat after the tower still uses land movement and broom travel. The broom does not replace spells. Bosses and raids are in the official listing; they are not a named Grimoire drop table on this page.

How a name graduates

A recap name can sit as Unverified. It cannot sit as a complete catalog row with rarity, percent, and a skill kit this wiki did not see. When Discord or Trello ships an official dump for Malphite Studios, rows move. Until then, empty is correct. The wiki hub will not grow /wiki/grimoires/[slug] children until a name is stable.

Two currencies, two pages

Clan Rerolls come from Unverified codes (BUGFIX1 is rerolls-only). Arcanite is the recap fuel for book and magic rolls. Do not spend both blind in the same HUD. Clan names and stay-or-reroll live on clans. Exam and skill-tree gates live on progression.

If a recap says keep a rare join book in the bag, that is storage advice, not a rank. If a recap says anti-magic looks strong, that is one session.
